We would like to inform all students that, after long renovations in the Luisenstrasse building, the new subject library "Geosciences" was opened on September 28, 2015. The new library contains about 85000 books and 150 running journals, as well as more than 200 working spaces for students and scientists. All Geosciences students are strongly encouraged to use the study places provided in the library. more

Are you interested in studying Geology at the University of Munich? We offer a broad range of topics including Geology, Resource Geology, Earth Surface Processes, Endogenic Geology, Geological Remote Sensing, Structural Geology, Tectonics, Active Tectonics, Basin Analysis and Tectonic Geomorphology. Master's theses can be chosen in any of the above fields and are research-oriented. The courses are now held in English and we welcome qualified international students. more
